Rebecca Stewart

Founder and CEO

Rebecca started her career in banking and consulting, with HSBC and then Ernst & Young. She moved in to executive search in 1999 and in 2001 was appointed head of the Finance practice for the London office of Heidrick & Struggles, recruiting CFOs across a wide range of sectors. 

In 2003 Rebecca moved in to the non-profit sector and joined Alpha International as Head of Alpha UK. Over the following 12 years Alpha grew significantly and Rebecca served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff before being appointed as Group Chief Executive of the HTB Group. The HTB Group has 350 London based staff and comprises Alpha International, Holy Trinity Brompton, William Wilberforce Trust and the St Paul’s Theological Centre. 

Rebecca founded Goldstar Partners in 2015.


Jo Glen


Jo is an experienced leader, educationalist and coach.  She is an expert in how positive professional relationships and a clearly defined ethos can change organisations.  Jo is a trusted adviser to boards and senior teams in the non-profit sector. 

Jo's teaching experience spans the full age range, and, in her most recent role as Principal of a thriving London school, pupil numbers trebled under her headship. From 2005 to 2015, Jo was Church Warden of the UK's largest Anglican church.  

Jo is a gifted communicator who speaks on a range of subjects from gender to relationships to leadership. She is a visiting lecturer at Leadership College London, an educational consultant and an adviser and trainer for schools and charitable organisations.



Liz Delacave

Liz has wide experience in executive search.  She has advised boards on a range of senior appointments across a variety of sectors.  She has experience of appointing CEOs in the charity, higher education, schools and health sectors. 

Liz holds an MA (Hons) in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford. She began her career with Citibank's Financial Institutions Group in London. She later joined the European team of Citibank's Private Bank in Geneva where she was Chief of Staff to the head of European Private Banking.  Liz built on her voluntary sector experience, gained while overseas with charities in Africa and Hawaii, when she joined the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Geneva to lead a turnaround for a major revenue generation department. She has been a Finance Director in industry and a Non-Executive Director of an NHS Foundation Trust hospital.


Becs Dhillon

After starting her career in the fashion industry in Milan, Becs found herself drawn to development work, with a particular passion for justice. This took her to the victims of human trafficking in the slums and brothels of South East Asia; to the Africa team of Tearfund ; and to work alongside women involved in street prostitution in East London with Door of Hope. She then qualified as a barrister with a specific focus on human rights, and went on to work as part of the senior management of an international human rights charity based in India.  She brings a wealth of experience of the charity sector to Goldstar Partners.


Heather Grizzle

Heather heads up Goldstar's US practice.  She has been a strategic advisor to numerous international and domestic charities in the UK and US and was previously a partner at ASG Advisors, a boutique consultancy that advises corporate foundations, high net worth individuals and executives on their philanthropic and positioning efforts. Her background includes work in the White House and the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as serving as communications director and press secretary for a variety of organisations in the public affairs space.

She began her career at Kekst and Company, a corporate and financial communications firm in New York. Heather graduated cum laude in Economics from Harvard University, where her thesis included original research on giving and volunteering in the United States.


Alex Stewart

Alex is a City-trained commercial and corporate lawyer with a wide breadth of experience. In addition to his commercial practice, he  advises non-profit organisations on a variety of legal matters including corporate governance, risk mitigation and legal structures.  


Emma Winther

Emma is a Researcher with Goldstar Partners.  She has a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector and has worked closely with a number of international charities.  Emma started her career in investment management and now brings her wide network in the commercial and charity spheres to Goldstar.
